Since I had my son some six years ago I haven't really cared about what I wear, instead just buying clothes to appease my family... I know it's kinda sad, but at least my kid has new ski wear, summer wear, school clothes, etc.
There's a graduation party coming up for my niece and they live in Brooks Brothers country. I want to show up looking like the fucking designer in the room, not like the country club douchebaggery that will be there. I don't even know where to start, and I'm not buying $200 jeans or stupid shit like that. Please advise.

^^ Never spend good money on jeans they are all the same.
Just get a plain tshirt with your jeans and throw over a light jacket/shirt with trainers.
