I just got this as working on the road in January... Colour not great but amazing compared to working solely on a 13' powerbook display

and get this stand too as much better than the cover / stand thing it comes with.

Duet Display app... I like it.
But I think it's only practical to keep hold all your palettes.Caveats:
MBPro and iPad must be on same wifi. (I'm not sure if this would work in places like Starbucks though)
Lagging screen when trying to drag items on iPad. Works adequately when simply clicking on palettes items.
My MBP 13" is not Retina, but my iPad is. So it would be much better if they both were Retina.- oops! I am speaking of AirDisplay app. I was going to get Duet, but wanted wireless.randommail

AirDisplay sucks in comparison to Duet...the USB connection has pretty much no lag. Only issues I've had (as mentioned above) seem to be a bad cable or USB port.
I switched USB ports on my Air & cables and it seems a bit more solid. Also, earlier builds flickered and disconnected the ipad a bunch of times. Not sure what that was about.
