- Monster house? those looks super huge.Ben99
- Neighbors behind have excessive roof pitches... Wasted space and makes them look huge. Ours will be 4/12 low pitch with big overhangs. 2,200 sq ft.aslip
- 2,200 sq.ft. is HUGE. You have a big family?Ben99
- 2200 sq ft is decent for a family, but certainly far from "huge"... 1 bd apartments are 1000sq ft :)monospaced

Los Angeles, specifically Echo Park, Angelino Heights, Silver Lake. Just the right amount of everything. Hills, trees, nature, city, convenience, energy, artwork, good food. Hits a sweet spot really. If I want mountains or beach, i drive 10 to 30 minutes to get it.

Lived in Brooklyn for years and recently bought a house in the NJ suburbs. Best decision I've/we've ever made plus we have a bus stop at the end of our street that goes directly into NYC. I come home to a gorgeous tree lined street, front/back yard, deck, fireplace, central A/C, and a home to call my own.
- How long is your commute?err
- Takes an hour to get to port authority but sometimes more due to traffic.whatthefunk
- Used to live in Brooklyn and often the commute was over 45 minutes due to delays so I have no problemwhatthefunk

We're finally settled in the new crib! Enjoyed putting our own touches on this construction. Looking forward to spending some years here.
