Historians have proffered the opinion that Bowie's version of Raw Power was weak, skinny, and failed to capture the sheer atomic fire of The Stooges. These historians would be correct. BUT Bowie redeemed himself by reaching down from the heavens, saving Iggy from self-destruction and in turn giving us two of the greatest albums ever recorded in Lust For Life and The Idiot. Laying the foundations for many a night of face_melter screaming, jiving, and dreaming of driving that GTO.

I know Lorde is one of these entertainers that we have been ordered to love on box ticking grounds but her performance was awful. Her voice was weak, breathy, croaky, uneven, and not tuneful. No better than some random women on a karaoke night.
She's great with her own original stuff but she should forget about covering anyone else's work.
