Hey guys, I'm trying to do something similar to the tutorial above, meaning that I'm applying a Plain effector and a Delay effector to a logo. The problem is my logo is not a "mo-text" object, but a complex series of vector extrusions.
So I placed them all under a null object and convert them to "object" so I was able to get the plain effector to work, but if I want to modify the "bounce" on it with a delay effector I can't get it to work.
Anyone know what am I missing?

on the effectors Deformer tab, have you changed to point or polygon? or object...
that may have an effect on what you're trying to do without mograph instances

Hey that did something!
it's not what I want, but I guess my hierarchy is correct then-Null Obejct with Logo
|_ Delay Effectr
|_Plain EffectorI want it to "Bounce" with easing (spring mode) but without breaking up the logo (point or polygon mode, seem to both do that)

it is breaking because it is going down to the polygon/point level
so you should have each letter separated into an object (select and split) and then just change the deformer to ObjectThen it will affect the transformation matrix of each object
If you change to object right now it will do with all the letters at the same time

Theres also a technique that you can use a cloner to clone each letter once, so they are the same as they were whitout cloner.
And then you have all of the mograph instances to work with

put your objects in a fracture object for the effectors to work
