Reading the ‘URLs' topic I was thinking how back on late 90s and early 00s it was popular to add ‘web’ at the end, or ‘e’ at the start or brand names to get an available domain.
Funny thing in Spain — and other Spanish-talking countries — it was common to use ‘i’ instead of ‘e’ because the name of the letter ‘i’ in Spanish sounds like the letter ‘e’ in English. It was considered an aberration until Apple came and started using ‘i’ at the start of their product names.
