So heres the story.... we're about to pull down the third art exhibit we have shown at our studio space we got last summer. We have a full commercial building that we have 2100sq ft downstairs and live in about 800sq ft upstairs.
This last show has sold 1 of the 21 pieces we showed. I am in the moment of debating on slashing this stuff to wholesale pricing just to make sure they don't get pulled off the wall and rolled up into a tube.
Wondering if any of you mixed bag of nuts have tried using your studio as a gallery space as well? How'd it go? Any tidbits of advice????

I guess after my Post Title Typo i just blocked that i even created this thread....
I'm about to run a Facebook/IG promotion for a "Summer Print Sale".
The last show was such a huge disappointment bc of the interest for purchase the work was getting before it was printed and installed. Now ive been looking at the same work for 3 months and trying not to resent every piece on the wall for not selling.
So, if anyone here is looking for some original fine art photography and mixed media prints ill post the link tomorrow when its live. I'll apply an extra 15% off for any QBN'rs

I have a gallery in the front half of our studio but projecting sales isn't easy. At our exhibit last month I sold five 8ft paintings and picked up 2 commissions but the month before that I only sold a couple of prints. I think a lot has to do with how much people have had to drink.
