I have a parody t-shirt idea, but don't want to worry about doing any printing or shipping. I'll build a quick one page site for it, but what's the best website to handle printing & shipping with decent quality?

I noticed threadless.com is doing this now. Has anyone tried it?

- Yeah, the printing at Threadless with photo-based art beats Society 6. Also good colors and shirt brands. Transparency is kind of supported.evilpeacock

If your market is more the US then Threadless do a good job - and you can now get lots of other things (homewares etc) not just tshirts.
https://www.spreadshirt.co.uk is a German company (that do worldwide distribution). I got some personal tees and hoodies made and found their quality of garments to be a lot higher than threadless. The hoodie I got is awesome.
I have a threadless store. I just upload designs when I like and it chugs along selling tshirts here and there without much promo work.
Doing advertising on Facebook is well worth it. I've found that I get back in sales what I spend on advertising.

I've not tried this but if you're doing a one-off this may be an option:

Try
I use it for printing quick mockups before I send my shirts to production, they deliver super quick. It's just the quality / options is not as great as a proper silkscreen shop. But you can sell online with 0 investment (other than your time, of course).
- And it offers other things like mugs, mousepads, skateboards etc.Miguex
