- impossible to be that creative with todays complex array of web compliance's etc.shapesalad
- I mean, the ever prevalent hamburger menu of today, back in 2000's there was no set format, every flash site a custom menu. It was awesome for a creator.shapesalad
- And everyone bought in when Jobs said we can't do that anymore.CyBrainX

- I know this was state of the art back then but damn how dated this looks now. And I don't mean the retro style, just the overall animation.********
- It seems nowadays there's a competition who can come up with more wild & fancy 2d cel style animations and morph/ transitions.********

Not early 2000's, a little before (late 90's) but does anyone remember a motion graphic series on Channel 4 (UK)?
I cannot remember the name, it was always a great watch. These guys were often on it:
http://fuel-design.com/graphic-d…
This video was on it among others by them.It was a collection of new motion graphic / shortfilm work, 30 minute episodes.
Got all of them on VHS(!) somewhere.
Crazy that a show like that even existed on a major channel at that time.
- this is defo one for the oldies from UK.fadein11

I think most of Mike Youngs Designgraphik work from that era still holds up. Also the stuff Anders Schröder and Aeriform did for the second Infity Series. Sick stuff. Can't find anything online right now, though.
