i miss zakka.
- Zakka was inspirational! Pounding four lokos, seeking out cool little NYC shops, designers feeling like rock stars... it's a bygone era.12xu
- when they had their first t-shirt exhibition it blew my mind.MrAbominable
- I picked up a lot of great stuff when they closed.instrmntl

Someone mentioned Michael Cina and I have to agree.
He was always brilliant via trueistrue etc.And still great today:

http://michaelcinaassociates.com…Nice to see his style evolve. Much as I loved that era some of it hasn't aged well whereas his work always had a purity closer to art than design trends.

And I'm still kind of proud about my own Versus Project. I don't have it online anymore and webarchive doesn't load all the images. Lot's of great artists from that era there, including you Hydro!

I think most of Mike Youngs Designgraphik work from that era still holds up. Also the stuff Anders Schröder and Aeriform did for the second Infity Series. Sick stuff. Can't find anything online right now, though.

Not early 2000's, a little before (late 90's) but does anyone remember a motion graphic series on Channel 4 (UK)?
I cannot remember the name, it was always a great watch. These guys were often on it:
http://fuel-design.com/graphic-d…
This video was on it among others by them.It was a collection of new motion graphic / shortfilm work, 30 minute episodes.
Got all of them on VHS(!) somewhere.
Crazy that a show like that even existed on a major channel at that time.
- this is defo one for the oldies from UK.fadein11

- The pixel pullsnudes
- I know this was state of the art back then but damn how dated this looks now. And I don't mean the retro style, just the overall animation.M01XXX
- It seems nowadays there's a competition who can come up with more wild & fancy 2d cel style animations and morph/ transitions.M01XXX
