Have to record a high res/high quality vid of something I'm doing on my computer. Last time I did this was many years ago using something called Camtasia and it was trash. Recorded at like 3fps.

^ Is this option to record video with it exclusive to the mac? I know quicktime is dead but I installed the latest on my pc and there is only an option to record audio, no video.
This app I have to record isn't available on mac so I have to do this on pc.

I have SnagIt, also made by the Camtasia kids. Techsmith, I think. It seems to work ok, though I haven't checked the quality. It's only $30 and is a great screen capture tool.
