I have an issue when someone creates a word like gigafactory, and definitely best it a enormous scale. A Hitler big lie method. Never develops said gigafactory while selling all stake in developed parts it and than announcing "gigfactories" elsewhere. And yet those "gigfactories" are no where near the scale of the 1/3 of comleted if that original which has further contsruction on hold since it already blew it's budget and cost tax payers 172k per job. Trade the shit like dogecoins but really come on if u think it will last. Hell even blue springs n was hot for a bit. Hot doesn't mean real value, worth, or profitability and growth

Virus Skeptic Musk Donates Ventilators in What Governor Calls ‘Heroic Effort’

I thought that the stable genius was going to manufacture thousands and thousands of ventilators if needed from one of his manufacturing plants? Elon ended purchasing a 1,000 units from a China company and hopes to acquire an additional 1,255 from another China manufacturer in the coming months.

This will probably be the end for Tesla and costly "green" virtue signaling tech. Well if socialism allows it...

    • As long as Goldman Sachs is allowed to flourish. Halfwit.BusterBoy

Elon Musk's Billionaire Brother Told His Workers They Were Family. Until COVID-19 Hit.

At Next Door, the community-oriented, “sustainable” restaurant chain owned by billionaire Kimbal Musk, workers were told they were part of a family.

Not a family as wealthy as Musk’s ― the self-proclaimed philanthropist and restaurateur, known for his signature cowboy hat, is the younger brother of multibillionaire Tesla founder Elon Musk. But workers at Next Door did have something called the Family Fund. A pool of money they contributed to out of their paychecks, the fund was supposed to be there for them in times of crisis.

Then a crisis hit. And the Family Fund wasn’t there for them at all.

Next Door and Kimbal Musk touted themselves as all about “empowering the community, taking care of people, wanting to invest in people,” said a former manager, who had been putting $2.50 a check into the fund. “That’s part of the shock. Was this all just a hoax?”

    Elon roasted

    • boring criticism from a person who lives in the past and lacks of understanding how truly life-changing inventions evolve.sted
    • these things are viewed by a stakeholder as a consumer demanding an immediate and perfect solution to a problem what she/he haven’t even fully understood.sted
    • and therefore it's irrelevant.sted
    • I agree and I’m a Musk fan but if you watch entire video there are some valid points.NBQ00
  • NBQ000

    Another one

    • Again does not understands what it means to meet needs of the current market for profit production, while developing a product for future generations.sted
    • Did you even watch the video entirely?NBQ00
    • In product development there are breaking points where you have to meet consumer demands, despite of what your or stakeholders long term scopes are.sted
    • In these cases the solutions or changes often does not seem rational or executable for the average person until he cannot see with his own eyes.sted
    • -cannot +cansted
  • NBQ000

As I said before I’m a Musk & Tesla fan but here’s my biggest criticism (should this idea even come to life one day at all)... which is: On one hand he wants the world to get rid of fossil fuels but on the other hand he talked about using SpaceX BFRockets for commercial transportation on earth. Which of course would so not be environmentally friendly.

SpaceX's Falcon Heavy, the world's heaviest operational rocket, burns about 400 metric tons of kerosene and emits more carbon dioxide in a few minutes than an average car would in more than two centuries.

So unless the BFR goes all electric this is a big contradiction on Musk’s part. The other question is will it even be possible at all anyway.

    • Another megalomaniac stable genius rock star.utopian
    • The concept behind these things is based on EP which is currently used in close orbit navigation. We're decades away from a solution.sted
