https://www.hermanmiller.com/pro…- How did I know this would be the first one posted :( Awesome chair dude!nylon
- I've had one for 15 years. It's been great and worth every penny.formed
- ha. I was gonna add something witty about the ubiquity of this chair but not had enough coffee yetGnash
- Search around for these as refurbished chairs at office supply stores. I got mine for like $375 last year.mg33
- Got the same. Love how farts go right through the bottom.fyoucher1
- Had one for nearly 10 years... love itPonyBoy
- Same, got mine used for like $300.ArmandoEstrada
- Just make sure if you ever move with movers, you wrap that baby up yourself.notype
- @ fyoucher1 - I trolled a blog post on iso50 once about the studio chair that Tycho / Scott Hansen did a review of...mg33
- Told him that I'd read an interview with the designer, and not trapping farts in thick padding was the impetus for the Aeron design. LOL.mg33
- Great for two people. ;)BH26
- I bought this chair in the early 2000s for $400. It was my first ebay purchase. It's one of the best purchases I ever made.CyBrainX
- I got mine because a client couldn't pay and offered me one as interest.zarkonite
- Got mine 1/3 off (cancelled order from John Lewis a UK dept store) over 10 years ago. Bought higher wheels to go better on carpet and recently new arm pads.comicsans
- Nice seeing this bumped. Mine is still running strong. I replaced the gas cylinder for about $30... still feels new / I can sit for 14 hours and not be in pain.PonyBoy

- I switched to this from my Aeron also, for the same reasons.ShenanigansTV
- I have this too after having a much more expensive Knoll Life chair. Not bad but a little too light weight.monospaced

I would recommend looking for used high-end chair. I've got a Steelcase 'think' chair bought for 300$ CAD which was a life changing upgrade from the previous chair I had. You can always try asking high end office furnishing stores if they have any used stuff in their warehouse. That's where I found mine.
- Yep. This. I got a refurb Aeron for around $375 last year.mg33

I had a knoll generation in black - got rid of it when I went back in-house and didn't really have the space or need for it. Thinking about getting another now that I'm doing wfh days on the regular. Basically the only thing you adjust is tension, the theory is that the chair moves with you and offers support the whole time - for me it worked quite well.

- It's classy, but not much about it screams long-term comfort to me. Would be interested to try one out though.ben_
- The back design is awful, why does it go lower than the seat? just looks awful.shapesalad
- looks pillowy, is it?api

A very well designed and looks comfortable. We have ordered similar sort of chairs in 50 bulk for our newly built office. Hope we will be ordering more in future like this one. It looks classy but I reckon anybody who sits on it will have a good nap.https://www.7dollaressay.com…... is a firm that would love to use this chair for their authors to make them more relaxed.

- I've got something similar, 1978 Herman miller. No arm rests, shorter back. Stylish, not too comfy = you get out every hour for a break. Check eBay...shapesalad
