Looking for some examples of some really nice map designs that you might see on big touchscreen wall.
Not a country map, but maybe like a 3d floor map or something like that. Im doing some googling and getting a lot of lame stuff that looks like it was designed 15 years ago. Just looking for some things that look really clean and sharp, that will really pop on a nice big screen in an innovative office.

the problem with those is you don't need them to be interactive to be good.
...you can solve the problem of providing orientation without interaction.maybe a searchbox you can type in what you are looking for or a voice assistant who listens to what you are looking for could be a nice feature.
- Huh? Of course you need interactivity. If someone wants to look at a unit plan, they click on that unit. Totally intuitive and well worth the (small) troubleformed

No this is something ill be building. It has to be interactive. People can click on rooms to learn more, but I need to get some inspiration ideas over to them.
I know ive seen lots of really nice ones in the past but Im just not really seeing much on google.

Sounds like something you could do in Unity

Are you working with a 3D model or are you just looking for something that looks "cool"? From a usability standpoint, 2D is still going to be the most intuitive. Things are finally about to wear Flash was 15 years ago (thanks Steve Jobs, for killing 15 years!).
If 2D is fine, I'll try to dig some up. I'd start with the high-end condos going up in NY and SF. Some of those even used AR in their showrooms (think huge marketing dollars for massively expensive condos).
- Where would you find examples of these AR experiences? Im struggling just to find anything other than crap dated designsCygnusZero4
- True about just about catching up with Flash (RIP)PhanLo
- I don't know where you'd find that. I spoke with some sales people that worked on the showrooms, but I haven't seen it first hand.formed
- The AR worked with the 3D model in the showroom, so probably something like a photo in your goggles.formed

^ Well it could be either. I dont really know. Right now I just need to show them some examples of things that have been done before just to get the conversation started and then figure out a direction. Could be 3d, doesnt have to be. Just depends on what makes the most sense.

Not the greatest example, but maybe a start: https://www.thecolenyc.com/floor…

I'll try to find better ones later.

Formed I think those ones you sent are probably going to be viewed as way too simplistic to them. They want something that looks seriously slamming like something you might see in a movie, like real high end stuff, not something completely flat with just basic black lines.
They need it to function well of course, but it also has to look amazing because this is for a brand new innovation space they are building that they are really proud of. It should look innovative too. I know Ive seen this stuff in passing before but as soon as you need to find it again, not easy lol
- Like motion graphics? It depends on if they want a movie-type thing or clear interactivity. I haven't seen anything interesting since the Flash days.formed
- Do you have a 3D model? I can show you some options for VR tours, but that's totally different.formed
- That's not me giving downvotes, in case you were wondering ;-)formed

I've been using Mapbox recently for a number of interactive projects including indoor floor plans and vector-based tours. Here are some examples I've found:

https://bl.ocks.org/Pessimistres…- Looks interesting. What are the costs? Can you control how/what the user sees?formed
