I'm half Venezuelan and half Canadian. I don't think Canadians get it as they've never lived in a 'class-based' country.
Venezuelans (and Cubans) on the other hand understand. The level of resentment on each side is high and the US will be truly fucked when the 'red necks' become a minority and the people burning the cities become the majority.
