'Stand up for what you believe.
I got arrested for peaceful protesting put in zip tied handcuffs for 7 hours no food water or bathroom, people were peeing in a corner.
When they finally released us, in groups of 25 each I got out by 2 AM to be separated from my friends and loved ones. The police refused to give me back my car keys and phone and dropped us all off at random locations in LA.
As I was getting off the bus the cop was using a knife to cut off the zip ties and was hacking away so aggressively already having cut a few people that he lacerated my hand, I could see my bone and my flesh was falling off.
The police sat there and did nothing to help me for the first ten or so minutes, but called the fire department. Still not allowing me to make any calls even undetained. I was never read my right and I was never booked either.
It took two days to get my belongings back as well. All of this happened for them just to write me a citation.
Stay safe. Stay woke people. It also needs to be stated this is a movement for the Black Lives Matter.
I wanted to share a bit of my story to express a glimpse of what the black community have been experiencing for years. They have experienced 100 times worse than what I have. Keep your focus on this movement and let’s continue to make a change. '
