It was common knowledge that the white man’s word could not be trusted.
Even today, the descendants of these savage people pump drugs and guns into the black community, pack black people into the squalor of segregated urban ghettos, and continue to be bloodsuckers in our communities. Amazing how people who position themselves as far-left activists show all signs of a totalitarian cult. The BLM movement has long reached the mark of "righteous", but I think it is closely approaching the mark of "sacred".
Why am I sceptical that BLM will benefit black people in any way? The core of everything that is wrong with America is social inequality, but because it is forbidden to talk about social classes in America, the fight goes under the banner of racial struggle. The ghettos will not get any better, since for the most part its the structure of the economy which keeps them there.
You can say this is also a crisis of capitalism in America -- corporate police, corporate prisons, corporate healthcare, corporate education, corporate everything -- you let the market steer the society, but the results are rediculously backward for any industralized country in the 21st century. What you see here is history breaking America's bones to fit together with the rest of the civilized first world.
