Any of you cunts use a physical USB/etc key to authenticate your various accounts?

Am I right in thinking I can use one of these to authenticate 'anything', including some sort of online password manager?
I'm very wary about online password managers, but if I have something like this guarding it i think i'd feel more comfortable.
Thoughts from anyone who knows more about this than I clearly dont?
Ta!

so what happens when you lose that shit?
- it's all over. your whole life. flush it.ben_
- Not sure. At worst you can keep a master key and buy a new one to use with it. Not sure if I can just input MasterKey manually. Even if 512 chars long :\Nairn

- I'm thinking to start off with just my myriad of useless second and third tier login shit. At worst, can just request a password reset.Nairn
- ie. depending upon how you set it up - if you only go low, at worst all you do is lose 'convienence'.
I think. futuredreadlolNairn - You sometimes get a set of 10 / 15 one-use codes that are unique to you, if you lose your main key you can use a code as an identifier to get a new one.face_melter
