Related to the Aztec podcast, which was incredible, a little bit more on Malintzin, a women sold into sex slavery many times who eventually was instrumental in bringing down the entire empire.

Jeez, been listening to these in the shop and i think i’m just about caught up with ‘em now.
They remind me of that guns, germs, and steel book. I think the aztec one was my favorite, followed by the vikings.
Thanks for sharing!

haha, funny for me to see this pop up as I've been listening to them again in the mornings when I wake up too early the last couple of days.
I listened to the Mongols one y'day (didn't realise it was 6 fucking hours, jesus!) and the rise and fall of Carthage this morning, with the latter having an obviously-cheery ending... .
I was literally just joking about this with my partner on Whatsapp as fam's away at the moment (hence me waking up early as I fall asleep very early when they're not around, sad old git that I am :) )
- Great thing about them is - no fucking ads on Spotify, whereas all the others have the same fucking ads for some recruitment website, the name of which I'm ..Nairn
- ..happy, and surprised, to not recall. I've heard/skipped that same ad so many times this year too.Nairn
- They're pretty easy listening, seems each one he expands a bit more, defo going to take me a wee while to get through the Mongols one. :-)PhanLo
