I'm looking for examples of products that failed, perhaps embarrasingly, after they were introduced to a market due to stupid design choices. Cars that fall apart. Skis that unlatch. Cell phones that explode. Etc.
I figured a community of designers and design-minded pros would be able to summon to mind some great anecdotes of this. Whatcha got?

- Nintendo Power hyped this so much. I was beyond jealous when one of my friends got one (with the headstrap lol). It took 5 minutes to hate playing it.garbage

– The Edsel car by Ford
– Google Glass
