Hi Everyone. I'm working on a logo and styleguide. The colors are super bright in the RGB spectrum and become very saturated when viewing in CMYK. Should i use a different CMYK code for print or leave it up to the print shop on what profile to choose?

When i'm looking into some examples i do see some brands have a different color code for their CMYK:
- leave as is. cmyk will appear dull because there are more colors in the RGB spectrum than CMYK spectrum.hotroddy
- RGB is radiant light vs CMYK are reflective lighthotroddy
- But why are these big brands changing their cmyk codes? i dont get it.milfhunter
- not 100% sure. maybe they have to be consistent with brand colors and know which CMYK profile to use.hotroddy
- Thanks Hotroddy.milfhunter

Pantone > CMYK > RGB
- Pantone is now making you pay a subscription to access their colors.fooler
- So what? You still start any branding project picking Pantone swatches mate :)grafician

I use either Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop for my RGB & CMYK colors.

I often start with RGB as my default color, and then I use the CMYK color assigned to it within Ai or Ps. If I need to provide a PMS color, I will use Ginifab.
