Here's another side to what's going on the media hasn't explained very well. Right now Israel is saying we need to invade Gaza to completely destroy Hamas...even if it kills tens of thousands of Palestinians or at the risk of starting a larger war.
But the senior leadership of Hamas isn't in Gaza. The global leader, Ismail Haniyeh, is living in Qatar. Members of the Qatari royal family also essentially bankrolled the Hamas government in Gaza with hundreds of millions in funding.
Surely what really keeps Hamas going is the funding from wealthy backers in the Middle East who are sympathetic to their cause. And yet you're not hearing demands to extradite Haniyeh or the other senior leadership, even though they seemingly knew about and helped plan the attack.

The Israeli flag at the Stadttempel, Vienna's main synagogue established in 1826, was desecrated. This historic synagogue miraculously survived World War II as the sole synagogue in the city to do so.
Jews should never live again in fear in Europe again.

New analysis of the hospital strike suggests everyone was wrong. The video footage that was thought to show a misfired rocket was a different incident occurring a few seconds beforehand. The explosion supposedly showing the hospital being struck was also a different incident.
- Says AlexGnash
- good analysis here:
https://www.youtube.…fadein11 - I’m not surprised. Both accounts seemed reactionary to me.monospaced
- In Alex’s own words “I have not found anything pointing to the IDF being behind the explosion at the hospital”Gnash
- And “Occam's Razor remains that a failed rocket from the barrage impacted the parking lot of the hospital”Gnash
- So still Hamas’ buddiesGnash
- More likely still Islamic Jihad rocket based on the aftermath of the site itself. It's just that the video everyone was using to say it was a misfired rocketyuekit
- is showing a different event. So the rocket that hit the hospital wasn't captured on video apparently.yuekit
- What ‘everyone was wrong about’ was that IDF bombed the hospitalGnash
- .. not some obscure detail about how the explosion happenedGnash
- It's like you're determined not to understand things at any more than the most superficial level.yuekit
- Occam's Razor means he thinks it's most likely, not that it's proven Israel didn't strike the hospital.yuekit
- New York Times and Channel 4 both say it's inconclusive. Associated Press says a failed rocket but they used the wrong video to reach that conclusion.yuekit
- He also pointed out that the video Israel released claiming it showed the hospital bombing actually cuts out before the bombing happened.yuekit
- https://twitter.com/…yuekit
- Israel also did shoot at this same hospital just days before the incident. In spite of that I think it can still be a misfired rocket but it's less certainyuekit
- than when it looked like they had the rocket itself on video falling on the hospital.yuekit
- You’re even more determined to obscure the discourse with a barrage of minutia. It really is quite simple.Gnash
- But don’t dispare. Things have just stared and there will be plenty of brutality from the IDF for you post about. This just isn’t the oneGnash
- Is this similar to your conspiracy about the New York Times using the wrong picture intentionally?yuekit
- That was imaginary, remember? And similarly I was just following the debate over what happened.yuekit
- I don't have a secret agenda to "obscure the discourse with a barrage of minutia" whatever that means. Just interesting to watch people try to figure this out.yuekit
- Another investigation by NYT reaches the same conclusion.
https://twitter.com/…yuekit - "Our analysis does not answer what actually did cause the blast or who was responsible, but it does undercut one of the most-publicized pieces of evidence usedyuekit
- by both American and Israeli officials."yuekit

We are witnessing a Holocaust denial-like phenomenon unfolding in real time.
So tomorrow, Israel will screen for foreign journalists the raw, unedited footage of Hamas’ atrocities in the October 7 Massacre, as captured by its death squads’ body cams.
- How long before yuekit posts the deep-fake takes by some rando on TwitterGnash
- Why would I do that? You're so desperate to pick a fight with people lolyuekit
- The question of who bombed the hospital is just difficult to figure out. Hamas lied, but the IDF also released misleading info.yuekit
- It wasn’t ‘misleading’. Hamas intentionally lied, and everyone bought it, including you. And you continue to do the ‘I’m just asking questions’ bullshitGnash
- IDF knew they didn’t do it. So they relied on existing footage to try and show that. They didn’t ‘mislead’ to hide their involvement.Gnash
- "and everyone bought it, including you"
lol...I literally just posted what was being reported at the time.yuekit - I'm not in Gaza, I don't have the ability to investigate these things personally.yuekit
- OkGnash
- Can’t really get mad at people if they temporarily believe widespread news reports while information is still evolving. Relax everyone.monospaced
- You all bought all of it. It was quite easy to see none of the evidence was reliable. Was surprised to see yukit share that shit but hey ho.kingsteven
- And Holocaust denial? I have not heard one person IRL suggest oct 7 didn't happen. It was 2 weeks ago... now 3 times as many Palestinians killed in retaliation.kingsteven
- I still think it's more likely it was Islamic Jihad or Hamas. One reason being they have a lot to gain with the PR war, so where's the evidence of anyuekit
- Israeli weapon that hit the site? But I can understand why people who support the Palestinian side think the opposite.yuekit

Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of Hamas' founder who later became one of Israel's top informants, speaks with CNN's Jake Tapper about Israel's war on the terror group and the situation in Gaza
"What can you tell us about what motivates these people. What are they like? What are the leaders of Hamas like? What do they want?"
Mosab Hasan Yosef: "Well, they are a religious movement and this is what everybody is afraid to say. If Hamas was a political movement then we can satisfy their political ambition but Hamas is a religious movement that does not believe in political borders. You know, they want to establish an islamic state on the rubble of the state of Israel. They want to annihilate the Jewish people and the Jewish state. They want to kill everybody who support Israel then establish an Islamic state...They want to establish eventually an Islamic state, a global state...[T]he more power, you know, we give them, the more aggressive they are going to be...You know, in war, people die...Israel did not start it but Israel will end it."
- Who didn’t know thisnb
- based on protest footage I've seen, I would hope a lot of people. Otherwise there's a whole lot of people waving Hamas kit that feel the sameGnash
- obvs the interview was more than the copy pasteGnash
- Hamas is a death cult but the question is whether killing thousands of innocent people is justified in response.yuekit
- Or whether strategically it's a good idea to launch ground invasion. The US and UK governments, not exactly anti-Israel, are expressing doubts about this.yuekit
- "waving Hamas kit" whaaat? that is supporting a terrorist organisation and possessing their flag will get you instantly arrested in the UK and most of Europe.kingsteven
- haven't seen it in any protest footage, maybe some actual nutjobs at it though.kingsteven
- That’s clearly not true, king.Gnash
- More than a few ‘nut jobs’Gnash
- @yuekit, we’ll this exhamas guy seems to think soGnash
- show me. i've done extensive searching and found one guy in NYC that was widely circulated as having a Hamas flag but its just a green flag with the shahadah.kingsteven
- eventually found two more in london (and not part of a main protest) that were identified as jihadist or isis flags which are the shahadah too.kingsteven
- To be fair if I was this guy I would also want everyone in Hamas killed. He's probably one of their #1 targets.yuekit
- But good for him for completely rejecting his upbringing like that...you have to respect someone who's able to do that.yuekit

A compilation of interrogations of Hamas terrorists responsible for the #October7massacre. In the interrogations, they admit to a litany of crimes against humanity including rape, beheading, child killing and more.
- not that those things didn't happen but rape and beheading aren't mentioned in this videokingsteven
- NBQ00-2
Some of the evidence that Hamas terrorists did to a pregnant woman is too disturbing to describe or link to.
But what kind of state must somebody be in to be able to do such extreme horrific things to another human being?
They must be on some kind of drug when they do these acts. Otherwise I can't explain how humans could do such things.
- They're a death cult. Death for them, their family, their enemies is a thing to be celebrated.Morning_star
