As a Scand the first noticeable annoyance happens a few seconds in the first episode and continues foreverafter: utterly ridiculous (yet understandable) that everyone speaks English in it. Not even a wee bit of a Scandinavian accent in there which could have aided with a bit of believed authenthicity.

Followed by a lot of ridiculous attitudes and decisiouns that doesn't really reflect the Vikings nature.

First they fuck up "Odin" (sigh. Spelling) and Thor (double sigh), now this.

    However...

Fun show "even if not accurate".

Also, glad that people have a bit of new-found interest in Vikings.

    Will watch again.

    • Floki (Gustaf SkarsgĂ„rd) is Swedish and very much sounds so. As does Ragnor no?sem
    • Dude, that's like saying it's ridiculous that they didn't speak ancient Greek in 300monospaced
    • sem, they don't sound "Scandic" to me.
mono, I suppose so. But 300 won't be on a "History Channel"
