But if it's legal in Mexico...that doesn't do anything to put a dent in a group that's getting rich selling it here does it?
I mean, I'm all for legalizing some drugs but are you going to make it legal for companies to manufacture and sell hard drugs like that? Roll down to the corner store and pick up a six pack of meth?;)
- legalizing doesn't work. socially it will hurt more. people can't control it now, how the fuck will then when its okay to buy it.akrokdesign

legalize it in MX, let the americans deal with their junkies while finding the real root to the problem. "career > family"?

yeah these narc families in the north of Mexico are pretty fucked up lately, they are fighting over the control of the zone and distribution, the nightclub event and the 5 heads is fucking real.
Recently the police also captured one guy that was in charge of dissolving bodies in acid.

Well, my family lives in Mexico, and just couple of days ago. There was a shootout between Mexican military and drug cartels that lasted 1 hour. Since it was close to my parents house they were able to hear about 25 grenade explosions, high caliber machine guns, the lights went, it was total chaos. These happened in one of the busiest blvds in the city.
I'll post some raw material from a shootout back in February. 1 block from an elementary school.

"In general the U. S. media treated this as a counter-intuitive move made in the midst of a full-scale war between drug cartels and the Mexican state.
But it is precisely the bloodiness of that war that has Mexico moving away from ideological prohibitionism.
The idea is to cut into demand by treating addicts as potential treatment clients rather than criminals, to fight corruption among the police by taking away one of their major tools for shaking down the poor and marginalized and to concentrate resources on organized crime."
- Sounds great but they are getting rich manufacturing meth to sell here...not as much in Mexicoukit

this has been going on for ages now ukit, this is actually nothing new, its been so bad that lately most south american countries are going the way of legalization, the only thing that could actually work and cut the grass under the gang's feet.
At least they are trying,

Read the article Georges. It's not talking about the U.S. so much, but the drug cartels that have taken over larger parts of Mexico.

This group "La Familia" that they did raids on yesterday (including a distribution hub here in Seattle) sounds completely insane...it's weird that the media doesn't talk about it more.

"The La Familia members use murder and torture to quash rivals, while building a social base in the Mexican state of Michoacán. It is the fastest-growing cartel in the country’s drug war and is a religious cult-like group that celebrates family values.
In one incident in Uruapan in 2006, the cartel members tossed five decapitated heads onto the dance floor of the Sol y Sombra night club along with a message that read: "The Family doesn’t kill for money. It doesn’t kill women. It doesn’t kill innocent people, only those who deserve to die. Know that this is divine justice."
