What's so good about ICO? I bought it a while back for $10 and played it for about an hour. Seemed pretty boring, running around a castle with same monsters and repeated wall textures everywhere.

Prince of Persia for PS2 has similar graphics style as ICO.

Resident Evil 4 is an amazing action adventure game for PS2, although I heard the Gamecube version has better textures/lighting. I completed it last week and unlocked a Mercenaries mode which is crazy fun. It puts you up against a horde of enemies with limited time and weapons to kill as many as you can.

God of War also looks great, awesome special effects and some great weapon moves. But it's a button-masher and some "puzzles" are hard and annoying. Why do some game developers think that trying to find well-hidden doors in order to proceed is fun?

Shadow of Rome is one of my favorite games for PS2. It's a gladiator game that has a very fun fighting system, lots of weapons, very cool enemies and environments.
