(Feb 9 07, 08:26)no, meeklo. apple is not about to remove drm. in fact, they can't make any decision regarding drm, because it is not their choice. the lables that own the music set the drm terms, so it's up to them to make a decision to remove it. apple is certainly in favor of no drm, as it greatly simplifies things for them and lowers their costs. in related news, emi (one of the big 4) is considering selling their catalog drm-free, but as a way to compete with itms.
