I left freelancing behind to go nack to full-time work once. It made me feel like a caged animal. An awful feeling I never really shook until I went back to freelancing several years later.

The only pros I can think of is consistent, predictable pay, paid vacations and health insurance on the cheap. Your lifestyle determines how big those pros are. The cons all come down to lack of control for me. No say on your schedule, type of work your doing, business decisions, pay, and when you have to wear pants.

This is coming from someone who is flush with work for the time being. When things were going so hot is when I thought the job looked like a good idea, for obvious reasons.
