It's really hard to judge the situation from just that one video, but my feelings verge on sympathy towards the authorities. His behaviour is erratic and potentially threatening and I would imagine that security would've relayed this information before the police get there - it's an airport, after all - so I think condemning the whole 25 second decision thing is a little unfair.

Frankly, given his struggling and his physical and emotional state, I think he was on course for some sort of mortal convulsion anyway - whether he'd been dealt with an old fashioned fist-in-the-gut and a wrestle or one of those oh-so evil tazers.

And as for mocking the whole terrorist thing - hey, if he's speaking 'Russian' (aka 'foreign') he could've been a Chechnyan - who knows? They have to err massively on the side of caution in favour of the 'greater good'. If you live in the modern world, you really should know how to act in an airport - or at least, how NOT to, no matter what.

If he was tazed 4 times, that needs to be looked into - bad shit happens, sadly. Unfortunately it takes events such as these to get proper codes of conduct in place for the use of such devices.
