In a nutshell - working on an exhibition stand - another designer has sourced images to use and dropped them all into a photoshop file to pass on to me - knowing that you can use the layers option in Indesign to select the relevant layer you want. Problem is by duping the PSD wihin ID that way it is making the ID file huge. So I have saved all the layers out as separate images so I can bring them in as flat images.
