im not slagging off vinyl, if you love it you love it.
but i am a realist enough to realise that its a dying thing.
i feel like all the vinyl i've got is a deadweight that is taking up a lot of space at my house.
ok maybe one day when all the vinyl shops have finally closed down and everyone is djing with mp9's then your vinyl might be worth a small fortune.
but then, how many other people around the world have the same idea as you and probably have the same records - that lowers the price of what yours is worth. plus there would be a hugely limited market for selling it because of the inflated prices.
and in the end, what is it? a bit of plastic with some music on it.

i used to have a very pro-vinyl and fuckthedigital revolution point of view, you cant fight progress/technology though - particularly when it is better and more convenient in so many ways.

    • Vinyl has been dying for decades... but still it goes on.moth
