Nice template, just a few pointers:
1) The file size for the header is way to big, when I do mailers I always try and keep the header or main image down to 35k, sure if you have ADSL it doesn't matter but not everyone wants to download the images, so if they download quicker then you have a better chance, also it will save you time if you have to send them out.
2) I always validate my mailers to make sure they pass the w3, this is good practice and your success rate for sending non SPAM emails.
3) The code is fine, you did it the right way! :)
