duplicate "Users" folders OSX

    Had something like this happen to me and this worked

    First figure out which one is the dupilcate then empty that folder of all information. Files, folders, etc.

    Then go to get info for that users folder. Then --> Ownership & Permissions-->unlock the folder--> change the owner from "system" to either your user name or admin-->make sure access says "read and write"
    it will ask for your admin password to make any of these changes.

    Then just delete the file.

    if there are any files within the dup. user folder follow the same process as above.

    i think there may be some apps that will do this for you also...may want to check versiontracker if this does not work
