Are looking for somebody to help you find work? like a staffing/recruiting agency?

If a staffing agency finds a job for you, the employer will pay the staffing agency, the staffing agency takes a massive cut (30-50%), and then the staffing agency pays you. In the case of say hourly contract work.

Mind you, they won't tell you what their cut is and they'll say, you don't pay us anything, the client (employer) pays us. Which is sort of true but not really. If you found the job on you own, some/all of that money could have been going to you.

    • Although, this is true. Employers pay a premium to hire a person through a staffing agency. It's not necessarily what they would pay you if you had contacted them directly.MISTERKIJI
