I think Motion might be a bit easier to use for those that have a background of video editing in final cut.
After effects is more friendly if you come from photoshop/ illustrator background, like most people only peeked a bit of motion a while ago, great for particles and quick effects, but I dont remember seeing camera controls or 3d layers, interface is very very nice though.
The fact that is darker is easier on the eyes when working for extended periods of time, after effects has an option for making the interface a bit darker but not that much. I cant wait till they add that to photoshop illustrator
- Apparently Motion 3 has 3d layers... some things look similar to AESigDesign
- Even having used Final Cut since V2, long before i really understood PSD, i like AE betterlocustsloth
