Blender is a complete professional grade 3D program in the same league as Maya, Max and C4D. If you do not believe this, check out links below. It is not a limited amatuer program like Swift3D (which you should avoid).

As such it is complex and takes a long time to learn. In the graphics world, 3D is by far the most complex software you can use.

People always say that C4D is easy, but I cannot believe any 3D program that is full featured (and C4D is supposed to be) is 'easy'. I think maybe the interface is just a little more natural to Mac/Adobe users.

People are always debating which 3D package is 'best'. I think the question is irrelevant. If you use Maya or Max or C4D or Blender you will be able to create the same kinds of things, and it will take a long time to master. The huge advantage of Blender is that it is free.

The most important thing about 3D is, If you want to get any good, you need to invest time. Not days or weeks. Months.
