I just got this email response from Paperchase:

The situation is not as described on the website - we purchased the

I think it's rubbish of Paperchase to wash their hands of the matter since they "purchased the design in good faith". That's almost irrelevant, the fact is that plagiarised work is out there on their shelves and they are responsible for it. If that attitude was ok then newpapers could outsource reporting and when facts were wrong just hold their hands up and say "sorry, we paid a freelance writer and thought they would get the facts right".
It would be cool to start a campaign outside their stores with posters, or even stickers on the products stating that their design was stolen
