Not sure if a few of the comments were directed my way, so just in case...

    Deathboy,
If the scam comment is for International Medical Corps, they look pretty legit. I pulled that name from a post GOOD put up (http://bit.ly/i7A0u9), and Charity Navigator gave them 3 stars which is pretty solid. If the scam comment was directed my way, my apologies if you anything in the way I've put this out there leaves you uneasy. I assure you my motivations are honest; I did a similar project following the Haitian quake. In cases where funds were actually raised, I try to inform folks about exactly how much profit was raised.

Either way, if you're wanting to donate, I'm a big fan of donating directly to a preferred charity. Unfortunately, as in this case, not all of the money folks spend will go to the charity due to overhead costs, production, etc. So why try to do this in the first place? First, awareness. Anything to help keep a cause in the public consciousness. Second, sometimes folks want swag in exchange for a donation, or to have something that says, "I helped." If IMC sound promising to you, check them out at: http://www.internationalmedicalc…

If you have any further concerns, please feel free to email me.

    JSK,
Not sure if your critique was directed my way. If so, I'm sorry you don't dig it. As I mentioned in the post, it grew out of a thought yesterday morning that I hoped could raise some funds. Even if folks don't snag something with the art on it, I'd be happy if it at least got them thinking about donating through an available channel. Regardless if your comment was directed at me or the shirt mrghost posted, I hope neither dissuade you from pitching in however you're comfortable.

My apologies for the long comment. Hope everyone has a good weekend, and thanks for checking out the link.
