Because they will have to work in a group when hired, and a lot of the time you work with people you dont know very well on projects, so this would be a good way to see who takes on what roles within such a task, and who is a wall-flower.
- but if you put 5 unexperienced people in group, you wont see a real average..epill
- as the greatest asnd weakest chains of that group are all relatively equal.epill
- how are you really going to justify your stance in hiring 1 of 5 randomly to work with you?epill
- when they havent been tested to work with your team, but someone elses team..epill
- i really do not like your strategy on trying to hire someone..epill
- did you advise to the 5 that only 1 of them is going to get hired or is that hidden info?epill
- if its not straight forward info, i would say you are the last company i would ever work for.epill
- perhaps place one of your own team members within that group to watch over their work.epill
- and let those 5 applicants know what is on the table for them to bust their ass harder..epill
- you are placing 5 people in direct competition with each other, yet ask they work a teamepill

- its confusing to the individual, do they work hard and showcase their skills?epill
- or do they falter backwards and let the team be as 1 unit showing the final work??epill
