The GroPro is really fun / easy to use. The footage feels "ok" - the wide angle lens is really nice, good detail etc, but its not like having a nice 70mm lens.
Here is a quick edit on a route I did last winter with a GoPro:
The problem with the DSLR's is that you are blind as to what you just filmed - if your focus is even slightly off... oops (and the stuff we hit doesnt allow for 2nd takes).
