I love printed Mags, and I have noticed that the added competition with online has improved the level of design and finishing in many titles. It's great to see more titles use special finishes like foils, Spot varnishing, spot colours etc.
In Australia Desktop magazine has improved lately and Process Journal is a good read and the level of design is pretty good.
I don't subscribe to a lot of magazines, but I do check them out in store and purchase ones I think I'll want to reread in the future.
