Advertising is typically charged in CPM. Cost Per Mille (Mille being the Latin word for 1,000), or cost per thousand impressions. So take your average monthly impressions (not unique visitors), divide by 1000 and multiply by your CPM rate. That's how you charge with a proper model.

Now, what is your CPM rate? The market dictates that. If you charged $1.50 CPM, based on extrapolating the info above, you could charge $225.47 a month for the ad, or $2705.64 a year.

I would think, however, for adult content, you could get a higher CPM. Do some research on CPM in the industry. CPM also varies based on the size and placement of the ad itself.

    • so... $3,600?monospaced
    • Once you establish your CPM rate(s), you can post a page on your site letting advertisers know.ETM

Oops.. Right! I multiplied by 10 rather than 12.
