    But if you shoot in high res, you can crop your 16:9 composition so people will never know that the image is moving all over the place and will get a sense that the object in question is still.

    I would never recommend shooting in 4k, EVER because of the implications and limitations on rendering time and workflow (in my opinion) are not worth the slight image improvement, however.. in this particular case I would shoot it in 4k so you have tons of room to move and crop.
