I went to the theatre last night to watch a "modern take on the traditional Don Juan story" premier with a friend. It was really disappointing and we left at the intermission. Totally one dimensional acting and characterisation and the worst thing was that this man, who was supposed to be the greatest lover and seducer of all time, had really shit patter with the ladies.
- sounds about right...neue75_bold
- you should only ever go to musical theatre. you can sing along and stuff.********

After all the bullshit and revisions and redos, he's handing the video over to someone else cause he can't handle his part of it. Good riddance. i make 50% more per hour at the freelance work i'm behind on anyway.
- stroke his ego anyway. there's always another time and he may deliver a needed project********

Sulla used proscription to restore the depleted Roman Treasury (Aerarium), which had been drained by costly civil and foreign wars in the preceding decade, and to eliminate enemies (both real and potential) of his reformed state and constitutions; the plutocratic knights of the Ordo Equester were particularly hard-hit. Giving the procedure a particularly sinister character in the public eye was the fact that many of the proscribed men never appeared again after being quietly taken by a group of men all named "Lucius Cornelius" (these men, the Sullani, were all Sulla's freedmen), giving rise to a general fear of being taken from your home at night, as a consequence of any outwardly seditious behaviour.
Sulla's proscription was bureaucratically overseen and the names of informers and those who profited from killing proscribed men were entered into the public record (because Roman law could criminalise acts ex post facto, many informers and profiteers were later prosecuted).

Passed the written, and they scheduled my road test for Nov. 22. NOVEMBER FUCKING 22nd. Plus the new laws for drivers under 18 say that for the first 6 months I can only drive parents, the second six months I can drive siblings (I have none). Basically, I can't have any passengers in the car until I'm 3 months away from turning 18 anyway. My friend lives 5m away over the NY state border and he can have two passengers the minute he gets his license, which means even though he won't have his permit by the time I get my license he can drive me but not vice versa. This sucks for many reasons, but mainly I don't trust him as a very good driver and his "car" is a 2000 Ford Expedition which is an enormous beast prone to barrel rolls on the gentlest of curves...
- Our regulations aren't too strict, except when it comes to alcohol and driving late at night. I need a new pic by Nov.21Jaline
- (I don't have any restrictions anymore though...just talking about the first test)Jaline
- Congratulations. I hadn't realized you were from PA. You're, what, 17?blaw
- Oh, yeah, congrats on the written. And good luck for the next one.Jaline
- The new laws got pushed because there happened to be several underage deaths lately (in a short amount of time)ismith
- Which is stupid because almost all the kids who died had suspended licenses, were drunk, and their parents bought them fast cars after destroying their last onesismith
- them fast cars after destroying their last onesismith
- From CT, I'm 16.6ismith
- Thanks Jaline. I hope my car still runs by the time I get to the test :Dismith
