Hey salise, this is on in the design museum:
Alan Aldridge - the Man with the Kaleidoscope Eyes is the first UK retrospective featuring the works of the celebrated illustrator and graphic designer Alan Aldridge. Dubbed the graphic entertainer in the 1960s and 70s, Aldridge illustrated lyric books for the Beatles, album covers for the Rolling Stones, the Who and Elton John, was Art Director for Penguin, illustrated children’s books such as the much loved The Butterfly Ball and designed adverts and identities for iconic brands such as the House of Blues and the Hard Rock Café. The exhibition is a complete display of complete works as well as sketches, notes, letters and other archival material as well as films; bringing to life the dramatic career of Alan Aldridge.
or Francis Bacon exhibition in the Tate?
- planning to see the aldridge exhibit with my bf (he's also a designer) and i have seen the bacon exhibit._salisae_
- i'm difficult, aren't i? thanks for the input. i think i'll just wander the streets and take in some muted grays and browns._salisae_

Or, OR, amd Im getting into this now,
Head over to Victoria Station and get the train down to Brighton for the day, roughly 50 mins or so on the train. Have a walk on the seafront, find the hop-poles pub and get some grub and a nice pint of cider. Then go for a walk through the north lanes, eat some cake, and pick up some hand-made fudge. Check out the shops along the lanes (cross over the main st, heading out of town) meander through the Brighton Pavillion gardens, check out the museum and when you're done, train back to London in a jiffy.
- I think its Victoria, someone may correct me on this.ian
