I am a rampant dog-ear user. I have no desire to go back and see if anyone has posted a side note on something I said an hour ago. But once in a while I have cause to de-dogear a thread and that REALLY PISSES ME OFF.
* Removes Blog's dog ear and groans as the whole lots spills out of the screen into my lap like a fisherman's haul.

Hey Jaline, I love the look of your new website and I love your logo, what is it based on? Is it SriLankan? it looks almost Thai to me.
One thing though... when I click on the little squares they don't seem to do anything. Its as though they are not linked up to show the bigger images.
I am sure that is my set up not your website. I am on Safari 1.3.2 (v312.6), but I thought you should know. Oddly, when I click down on the preview squares and drag across the screen I see a ghosted image of the full file.
Just thought I'd report that!

Dear Blog,
I have just taken down the big blue android piece that has been on my easel forever. It feels so good to have a white piece of paper there, like finding a new world behind a pile of trash. I have just stroked it with a very like grey pencil and it was pure tranquility and happiness.I am done with using colour. I wont ever use colour on my large format pieces again. People kept saying "do some colour" and "add some background" and "it looks unfinished". I kept being influenced by them to try it, and I can see really clearly now that every piece I have done in colour, with backgrounds, is not at all what I am trying to do, so from now on I listen to myself and do monochromes on white.
This will be my first piece in my new studio. I am so excited.
^ This has been a traditional Blog entry, to self.

plumber came to fix our boiler yesterday, we had hot water but no shower for the last two weeks, so we had to take baths. I hate baths, I still have an irrational fear that a shark is going to come out of the water and bite me ghoulies off. Today I had a shower and it was fucking amazing.
Simple things like a good shower really cheer me up.

Also, bizarre request from the plumber. When he was sorting out the pump he asked if I had any fuses, did a quick search and couldn't find any. He then asked if I had a phase tester. Why would I have a phase tester just lying around me gaff?
- Did that phase you?Jnr_Madison
- No offence Jnr!Horp

"Paul Michael Attallah died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009 at 5.10 in the evening, of cancer of the liver. Paul was 55 years old. He was in no pain but had weakened dramatically in the past days. Paul had been in the hospital since just after Christmas.
...
Long time former Director of the Communication side of the Carleton School of Journalism and Communication, Paul had learned he had an advanced cancer just over 18 months ago. Despite some complications, he was reasonably active and able to go out and about until late November 2008 when such activities became too tiring. His oncologist was amazed that he had made it past Christmas 2007. Paul took some satisfaction that that his own statistical calculations of his expected death were, as he put it, “bang on.”
Paul remained the amazing teacher he was to the last, astonishing his friends with his insights and reflections until the very end.
He taught Communication for 24 years. He was particularly outstanding in being able to lastingly reach first-year students. His principal intellectual interests focussed especially on the relations between rationality, modernity and post-modernity, topics on which his views were emphatic. In his academic career, he took his PhD at McGill with a dissertation that, as the story goes, rehabilitated the cultural status of “The Beverly Hillbillies” TV show. He then taught at the Université de Montréal, the Télé-Université of the Université du Québec, and as of 1981 at Carleton University.
..."
I had him for two classes. My very first Communications class in 2004 (lasted the entire year). And then again in 2006, over the summer. One of my favourite teachers.
