I'm off to M&S for a sandwich and crisps.Horp - I jest. Its leftover fried rice and prawns. They were yummy, Im hoping that nuking them will enhance the flavour.ian
- Their duck wraps are nice, but forget the samwich. Go for their meatball soup, delicious!ian
- I just realized your Facebook picture makes you look young (I should be one to talk...)Jaline
- I haven't yet embraced the realisation that there's a microwave and a hob in my new studio and I keep getting sandwiches. = (Horp

I literally just laughed out loud (which doesn't happen too often) from Ian's comment in the "Amazing"-thread...
"it was killed by a rougue clipping path."

What's the point of keeping an error log with all the amends (and marking them green when done) if you keep asking me "have you done this this and that"?
I may be irritable these days but next time i'm going to answer to such emails with a link to the error log.

While searching for "stationery", I found an alarming amount of threads with the word, "stationary" in them:

I love it when clients say "We'll need to get these costs approved and signed off before we can give you the go-ahead to start work" and then later, before they've given me the go-ahead to start they call and ask "You're not waiting for us to approve these costs before you start are you?".
- hahah********
- Answer: I feel my professionalism offended by such assumption.

SUCK IT, IE
- I may have to change my entire design b/c of its stuntedness. KILL YOURSELF.Jaline
- OK, maybe that QBN user was right and I need help for my fits of rage.Jaline
- OOOHHHH "fits"... with an F. Gotchalocustsloth
- You were thinking about fisting?Jaline
- no, those lower case F's look a lot like lower case T's sometimes.locustsloth
- I will gladly help you beat the shit out of IE. I hate that asshole.D_Dot
- who doesn't?Fariska
- Sometimes it makes mistakes that are actually beneficial to your design. But that's rare.Jaline

I watched Spirited Away last night, hadn't seen it before. I thought it was amazing, perfect for a sleepy Sunday evening. The Japanese are refreshingly brave with imagination and fantasy, in that they actually believe in it and go with it 120%. Take video games for example – any Taito game from the 80s would piss on the 'concept' of the majority of todays games that involve what - a regular human with a regular gun fighting other regular humans, wow, such innovative escapism!
I watched the subtitled version btw, I can't stand cheesy English dubbing.
- I love Spirited Away.
Its greeeeat.Horp - I wanted to live inside that film.********
- I love Spirited Away.

Anyone have any tips for the following issues:
(1) Transparent PNGs in IE (with some images being links)
(2) Height is not 100%.
(3) My left-side navigation (div) is fixed, but in IE it is not fixed.I have tried many of the hacks available, and none seem to work.

I think it's time for me to shift paradigms...

OK, I'm making a separate stylesheet for IE. I feel better.
- did you start with a reset?
http://developer.yah…
Makes all the difference.D_Dot - I do a basic reset, but nothing like this. interesting, thanksJaline
- I would also suggest the 960 grid framework to solve many headaches. You prolly knew that though.D_Dot
- I saw that link here the other day. Also quite interesting, thanks.Jaline
- Unfortunately, for this assignment, we have to use 800px or 1024px.Jaline
- well one could argue that 960 accommodates for the background image as a design element at 1024...D_Dot
- now I'm just rambling. SorryD_Dot
- The wrapper has to be those amounts.Jaline
- did you start with a reset?

Thanks for the offer, NotByHand. I am using JPG with IE instead (for now). I am interested in what you have though.
