thinking: i dont know what time of day it is

Feeling:
Relieved. It's good to know that the brain impulse to ascii translation was successful. My feelings of being isolated in the near past was somewhat trivial, and had a silver-lining after all. Also relieved my good friend Rand is away from the grayscale Philadelphia, and not a victim of OSX migration and subsequent deportation; which I did fear was the cause of his absense.
Hoping: This weekend goes smooth, and I make it through to Monday without anyone finding out I'm free of responsibilty.

Random thoughts:
Chuckling to self thinking of Grayhood's term "regular vomit"
I downloaded a program called iVolume to automatically adjust iTunes volumes; in the car on the way up here (iPod plugged into car stereo) it was obvious the program didn't do shit. The most annoying songs always play loudest.
My all-consuming client rage is gradually subsiding. Realizing that much of it was the product of a circular paranoid monomania which I seem unable to stop.
Hope we don't hit a coyote on the drive home.
Might go into Cambridge tomorrow.

Geez NTs been dead for a coupla days. Wondering if its connected to my mood - which is two thumbs down&153; at the moment.
NT is my mood ring.
Its shirt sleeve weather again (since 1996 really). I better go get lunch.

overcast but it won't rain. it's gray outside and it's gray right here. i wish i could see a nationwide demographic of weather changes-vs.-blog entries. but i don't think i need to see a number to validate my suspicions. last week's poppy tunes on the turntable gave way to dark creepy punk rock, but even that wont move the hand on the clock. i had a laugh with the guy at the record store. it always goes wrong when i try to add to the fun. my one-liners are like ordering world peace through a fast food drive through. do you get it?
didn't think so.

wondering: are you getting enough to eat Rand?

Last night went to Vietnamese restaurant. Went to wrong one. Meant to go to Vietnam, instead went to Vietnam Garden, one block up.
Waiter persuaded me to order “Seven Courses of Beef.” Couldn’t bear final course: a glistening mound of ground meat in transparent membrane, dyed cherry in center.
Much later, found myself at a club.
A note about clothing: the kids seem to have transcended the old ironic bad dressing, achieving a kind of doubly ironic bad dressing—which, now forgotten, has become genuine. While at club, managed to lose bag with glistening meat.
Thought about person finding it later.

sad to see noone is blogging, i am excited to see Medeski martin and wood tonight, but worried about the possibility of having to come into work tomorrow hungover. maybe if i drink a glass of water before i go to be, its sad that not drinking isn't even an option o concider. i had some falafel today for lunch, ate it out side, then it started to rain.

Glad to see the Mr. Grayhood dusted off the blog.
Chances are I'll see Tracy again tonight. I have to make a quick impression on her then get the hell out of there. She's totally rock and roll. I hope I don't smell of that scrambled egg sandwich I just had.

out of the desert and into the frying pan. coachella festival was magical this year - i had a blast. seeing the pixies rock the dusk into night was surreal.. i remember meeting a twitchy dude at the pool after sunday's show, i was kinda twacked out myself but he spoke of geometric existential diagrams detailing the plight of humanity – all the while, applying everything to sonic youth as if thurston moore was his personal koresh.
blinking profusely and appologizing for his stoned condition he told me i was a good guy and didn't seem to be bothered by the banter. i told him, if you take everyone's two cents, you'll be rich.... .. ...
but that guy was out of change. he didn't make no sense.
.... .
... . .... . . .......tonight i eat not. i'll be drinking till this is over.
whirled peas,

wondering why blog always revives when I'm on the road to New England. See "I'm" thread, which I treated as stand-in blog before seeing this. Nice contributions the faithful: grayhood, peteski, magicpatch and gorbie. Wondering if peteski has "open marriage". Just got in from road: beer and hummus. for some reason they only make good hummus in worcester, mass. Then I think I'll have an ice cold martini with an olive stuffed with a caper berry. Tomorrow I'll be in a dark suit at the memorial service of the daughter of old friends.
