What a great day this has been. Seeing my dad out and about has been completely surreal, just like I remember as a kid. :)
I came just in time to sit on a meeting with my dad and some gallery owners in the city. It's been 15 days since he got out and he has already received offers for exclusive gallery rights. This particular gallery we visited was an area called Santa Fe in Mexico City, it's pretty much the most expensive section of the city. It's a massive penthouse/apartment that has been converted into a gallery showing artists from Mexico by appointment only. They paid him for a painting they sold last week and gifted him a sick coffee table book. They want to have a very large solo expo within a couple months. This is HUGE. It's wonderful to see the fruits of his work of the last 30 years.

this is actually a double sided painting. this one was done using his hands.
a bedroom in the back is converted to a studio for artists to work. that's all plastic on the floor. they asked him if he would be interested in working there and he said no.
this artists made this kitty with smoke. loved it!
all the paintings leaning on the ground are my dads
even the kitchen is filled with tons of pieces.
Today we have an interview with Proceso and another with a French press later.

I play daily fantasy sports via Fanduel and Yahoo.
A buddy of mine who I've known for years invited me to play in his Friends group on Fanduel. 10 players, 5$ buy-in, winner takes all. In the 10 weeks of Football we've played I've won 6 of 10 (I didn't play in week 2).
I think I'm decent so for the past week I've been trying to help him with his NBA picks. Last Wednesday I sent him a lineup and after lineup lock a player on our team sat so we got a zero from him and just missed cashing. He wasn't happy and somehow it was my fault.
The next night I suggest a lineup and he asks "What about Jimmy Butler?" and I give my rationale for not picking him. We barely cash, Butler goes off for 40+ points and he responds with a snarky text "Great call on Butler".
Two days later I give him a cash lineup to help build his bankroll and he plays it in a large tournament, which is a no no. He doesn't win but I do. He's pissed.
I quadrupled my bankroll this past week and he's pissed so I'm done trying to help. I even took a dive this past Sunday in our league and created a team I knew couldn't win so because if I were to win, it would have been 3 weeks in a row. Fuck that. Now I'm out for blood.

A man has been barking for the last week outside of my building. What do I do? ...since last Monday or Tuesday, a man has been standing across from my building, barking like a dog, as loud as he can from roughly 1PM to 9PM every day. To his credit, he doesn't seem to loose his voice, and he sounds just like a dog. It's extremely loud and distracting and everyone in my building is complaining about it.
The problem is, the police say they cannot do anything about him. I've seen him get somewhat aggressive with passers by - standing in the middle of the sidewalk and yelling when they don't give him money, but along with the constant barking, he hasn't done anything else. What can be done about this?
