Feeling extremely low today. My uncle died on Tuesday but I was just too busy to slow down long enough to process. They decided no funeral and I never got to say goodbye when he was still alive. His wife is really disconnected from the family (Ive recently tried to arrange visits twice (in new mexico) i knew he was sick but i didn't see this coming. Im just waiting on final approval on a project and it really hit me last night after a 36+ hr shift. Then, late last night it was discovered my sister has some complications from a surgery she had the day before in another state. They've accidentally left a hole in her skull and was scheduled for emergency tests today, next more tests Tuesday with another surgery probably Wednesday. My travel plans to back to new york were pushed back until after Christmas because I decided to spend it with my high strung, but loving mom. I don't spend extended time with her so i thought Id give it a shot because she's so old and she asked. She's definately not helping right now and im away from my partner during our 10 yr anniversary which is tomorrow (we were going to celebrate next week bc I'm with my mom for Christmas). Id rather be there with him or with my sister. I'm so stressed.
