How do you find QBN threads that you don’t know they exist?

I use Google to find the ones I know of faster.

Some cunt a block or so away, out back where it's hard to access, has started playing shit loud music from their car.

I dearly want a drone to drop a few eggs on them. Or, in future, perhaps I could use a 'Call-Airstrike' app service where I can pay a local independent operator, all Uber-like, to send out a drone and so the same.

    • well, i have no idea what's going on, but the music stopped and now there's the smell of burning plastic coming from there, and locals popping heads out of...Nairn

Felt sick this morning, but I'm out of covid tests.
No cough, but completely knocked out.
Spent first half of the day arguing with garbage something about flaccid penis and full mouth teeth extraction -- I blame the fever.
Slept the rest of the day.

Has anyone been to Positano (Italy)? Is it worth the hype?

I know it’s trendy amongst influencers but it does look pretty.

Any other recommendations around there and Amalfi coast, hotels?

    • Stay a ways up the coast from Positano. Plenty of quiet spots. Take a boat or car or motorbike to Positano for the day.nb
    • Positano is packed with tourists and influencers and the people who have been influenced by them. Boring people to be around.nb

A week of 15 hour days as I continue to cover another job on top of my own (since April last year), on a project I told them needed 3 weeks rather than the 1 I got, resulting in a decompression migraine on Sunday morning...

    Great resignation what?

Some moron from an accounts department of a film production house sent out a last invoice request to ALL their suppliers, including me, on an open To: email list, like a fucking muppet, so I've been receiving invoices not meant for me. I made the mistake of Replying To All: to warn people to be careful what they send, so now my inbox is getting pinged by a multitude of out of office responses and email invalid warnings and I've got at least two threads of echoing bouncebacks talking amongst themselves.

I only bothered responding because I saw a few interesting companies listed, so figured a very minor good deed might make my tiny little concern noticed by companies who might be interested in my services down the line.

It was only ahlf way through this mess that I realised that my sending an email out to x hundred To's: might fuck my Spam status :\

    .

Also, very interesting to see who these company have used and also how temporary account/business structures are for businesses working in film. 'Hollywood accounting' indeed.

    • that kind of noob mistake violate ndas? but he prob. won't get in trouble and do the same next time.uan

My wife loves Bill Burr (so do I... hard not to). He's doing a show at Fenway in August and I'd love to take her... but FFS, BILL... min $120 for rooftop seats that are nearly a quarter mile from the stage? I want to say 'smh'... but... I really want to take her...

*** Lately, I've been offered quite interesting positions, and honestly, I feel I should have just had a 30 min coffee with them. Yup, signs you're getting old... Sure that you old fucks know what I'm talking bout.

It's almost like the mere fact of having to bond and gesticulate and connect, and think, and blhaaargh. with someone I don't even KNOW through a Zoom call, keeps on and on absolutely diluting my energy.

Is there any strategy, hint, trick, sorcery, to avoid feeling such an old Clint E. in Gran Torino every single time?

I wonder if package delivery people remember their clientele by name

I get a few packages delivered by DHL, and its always the same guy, I'll bet he goes "this guy again?" every time he sees my name

    • Our UPS delivery is impeccable because my neighbors give the driver a Christmas bonus every year. FedEx is awful because that guy gets nothing. Shrug.nb
    • One of my delivery drivers regularly honks his horn and waves at me manically when he passes by me in the street. He was a bit put out last year..Nairn

    • DHL has started offering package lockers in 7- Eleven stores. You get a text with some code you punch in, it opens and you take your package.drgs
